There’s been talk of the bank tanking her money and Sherri Sherri Shepherd taking her show, but is Wendy Williams popping up and basically saying “AHT AHT! Not so fast!”?

A rare video of Wendy Williams surfaced Wednesday morning, showing the iconic talk show host taking a morning walk in Miami appearing to be just fine, courtesy of her new Instagram account. In the video, Williams speaks to her son, Kevin Hunter Jr., while standing on the beach. Hunter, who is behind the camera, asks his mother how she feels about people who have sent her prayers and well wishes.

“Well, thank you,” Williams says in the camera. Her son then says everyone is hoping she comes back stronger, to which she didn’t hesitate replying, “Uh, excuse me, I am going back stronger.”

All types of reports have swirled for months regarding Wendy and her health over the last few months, making it hard for fans to keep up with what’s actually the truth. Rumors have stated that she has been wheelchair-bound, while others claim Williams is battling dementia. Her return to the show has been postponed multiple times, with various guest hosts taking her place. Sherri Shepherd has recently been named the permanent guest host in Williams’ absence.

Williams only vaguely addressed her break from showbiz, agreeing with Hunter that she was on one. “Yeah, this is my break from New York,” she said, “Everybody’s got issues, don’t they?” she said when talking about how she’s focused on taking better care of herself as far as diet and wellness. “At 56 years old, there are things that happen to people,” she said without getting specific. “Things usually start about 40 and they go up from there.”

To people praying for her and wondering about her, Williams vowed, “I am going back stronger … I want to be all I can be and then get back to New York and get on down with the Wendy Williams Show.” As the video wrapped, Williams went off on her walk down the beach solo — an apparent statement, without verbally making one, that she is not an “incapacitated person.”

At the end of the video, the daytime talk show queen then says she is eager to make her return to New York and get back to work on her talk show. While it’s great to hear that Wendy isn’t letting her purple chair go that easy, I think the most important thing is that she’s healthy and getting herself on the right track.

Take a look at the video below and let us know what you think? Are you excited to hear Wendy is going down without a fight? Do you think she’ll pull through and save her show?
