WELCOME TO HOLLYWEIRD: Tiffany Haddish & Aries Spears Are Getting The Side Eye Following Lawsuit Accusing Them of Grooming & Molesting Children

While I don’t think it’s fair to assume, after seeing the footage of the supposed ‘comedic’ skit it’s definitely both cringy and disturbing and ultimately makes you wonder what exactly was going through the person who created it’s mind when they thought this was a good…or normal idea.

Just about a week ago, Aries Spears was in some trouble with the court of public opinion after sharing some less than favorable opinions about Lizzo. Now, he’s finding himself in deeper trouble along with fellow comedian Tiffany Haddish, but this time in the court of law.

According to reports, both comedians are being accused of grooming a 14-year-old girl and her 7-year-old brother into performing inappropriate, sexually suggestive acts in sketches. The two unidentified siblings, going by Jane Doe and John Doe, say they’ve been traumatized for life after the experience, which occurred when they were minors. The boy also claims that he was molested by both defendants.

It all apparently began with a very disturbing skit called “Through a Pedophile’s Eyes,” The storyline revolved around a child (John Doe) who’s mother played by Haddish left him alone with with a man perverted man played by Spears. Throughout the video, Spears’ character “leers at the child lustfully” in multiple scenes before massaging him with oil. The man later gets into a bathtub with the boy and forces him to come “closer to him in the tub,” yeah it’s pretty sick shit.

As the video closes, the words “WATCH WHO YOU LEAVE YOUR KIDS WITH!” flashes across the screen as if it’s meant to be some sort of twisted PSA but one has to wonder why anyone though this imagery was a good way to put that point across. In their suit, the siblings say they met Haddish through their mother who was friends with the “Girls Trip” star, adding that the Funny or Die video featuring John Doe was published online when he was too young to consent, barely 7-years-old.

The unidentified girl says the incident has ruined her dating life, saying she’s afraid to be “led down a path of false trust like the path that Haddish led her down.” However, Tiffany’s attorney, Andrew Bretler has denied the allegations, claiming the lawsuit is purely an extortion attempt. Bretler added that plaintiff’s mother, Trizah Morris, has been trying to “assert these bogus claims against Ms. Haddish for several years.”

“Every attorney who has initially taken on her case — and there were several — ultimately dropped the matter once it became clear that the claims were meritless and Ms. Haddish would not be shaken down,” he added. “Now, Ms. Morris has her adult daughter representing herself in this lawsuit. The two of them will together face the consequences of pursuing this frivolous action.

I won’t be posting the video for obvious reasons but it is floating around on the net. I honestly don’t know what to make of this and it’ll be interesting to see how it plays out. What do you guys think? Do you think this is something Haddish or Spears could be guilty of or is this just an extortion attempt following a severe lapse in judgement with what was supposed to be…”funny”?
