YIKES!: Jennifer Hough Submits Evidence including Rape Kit, Photos, & Soiled Shorts to Court As Proof That Nicki Minaj’s Husband Kenneth Petty Sexually Assaulted Her

It’s sad that it’s even had to get to this point where a woman has to go out of her way to obtain evidence linked to such a traumatic event simply because her abuser married famous and is followed by a cult who just believes whatever they’re told.

Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty is probably just as infamous in the court system as his wife is in hip hop. The convicted sex offender has failed to settle the sexual assault lawsuit that his victim Jennifer Hough brought against him in 2021, as a result, they will be headed to trial. With that, it was already a given that some pretty damaging evidence could see the light of day, but based on what Hough is now bringing to the table.. that whole narrative that she was never raped by Petty is completely dead.

According to The Daily Beast, Hough’s legal team has submitted evidence from her original 1994 case in which Petty ultimately plead guilty to attempted rape in the first degree.  The new exhibits include photos of injuries to Hough’s face, neck, and sides, as well as a police laboratory analysis report stating that Hough’s underwear and two vaginal smears “were positive for the presence of spermatozoa.” The report further states that a pair of “checker shorts” collected from Petty “were positive for the presence of spermatozoa.”

“These are things that in a normal context would be ‘he said, she said,’” Hough’s attorney Tyrone Blackburn was quoted.  When asked what she hopes to demonstrate with these new documents, Hough told TDB that she “just wanted to show proof that I didn’t lie on this man. I did exactly what I was supposed to do. When it happened, I went to the police. I went to the hospital. I had a rape kit done.”

Even with this evidence, Hough feels she still has a battle ahead of her, not with the court of law, but the court of public opinion.  “For me, it’s been hell,” she said of the past few years. “When I was 16, nobody believed me..And now it feels the same.

“It feels like I’m fighting for my character,” Hough said, clarifying that she hopes that those who still support Petty will see that “he did what he did.” We’ll keep you posted on how this plays out as it heads to trial. Thoughts?
