Da Baddest B**tch is finally getting her flowers as BET just announced that none other Ms 305 herself, Trina will be honored at the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards. Trina will be receiving the biggest honor of the night, the I Am Hip Hop Award, a coveted prize reserved for legends of the game which previous recipients like Lil Kim, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, and Nelly.
“I am honored to receive and accept the 2022 I Am Hip Hop Award presented by BET,” said Trina. “As a legend with over 20 years in the music industry, consistency and unity have contributed to my Rockstarr power as a femcee. The 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards will be hosted by Fat Joe, a first time host. The show will premiere on Tuesday, October 4, 2022.
