“WAP” released last summer and the controversial Grammy performance was well over a month ago, however, our people are dying everyday…and it’s very telling what these phony politicians choose to make a priority to speak against.
As civil rest continues in the United States with police shooting citizens, protests occurring nationwide, and investigations into the massive insurrection at the Capitol back in January, conservative politicians are still choosing to pretend they are angry about Cardi B. Bardi has often had to defend herself in a war of words with the right-wingers who have attacked her for her music videos and performance, but insane thing is, there are obviously more pressing issues at hand.
Most recently on yesterday (April 22nd), a reporter tweeted that he was looking to speak with people who had contacted their local representatives to complain about Cardi, she responded, “Smh! THERES PEOPLE DYING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” which is highly accurate considering a 16-year-old child was shot and killed by a police officer in front of her parents home just a day prior.
Soon, a clip of Wisconsin Rep. Glenn Grothman speaking about Cardi during an official meeting surfaced where he said people contacted his offices about the rapper’s “decency.” Cardi retweeted the post and added, “This gets me so mad ya don’t even know! I think we all been on the edge this week since we seen police brutality back to back including watching one of the biggest case in history go down DUE to police brutality but wait ! This is wat state representative decide to talk about.”
“Mind you Nikkas can’t give a word about Jacob Blake or give him proper Justice but this part of the reason why !!!!!” she added. “They giving seats to F*CKIN IDIOTS!!This is why people gotta vote ,elect better people cause you got these dum asses representing states.” I’m sure Candace Owens is somewhere preparing to excercie her Twitter Fingers.
For those unfamilar with Rep Glenn Grothman who decided to question Bardi’s “decency,” this is the same man who denounced the Black Lives Matter movement claiming that it stood against “old-fashioned family,” translation, he’s a racist biggot so we can see exactly why he would choose to ignore pressing issues and instead stick his head up Cardi’s vagina. It seems we live in a time where “politicians” are more focused on clout and getting their name trending around one of the biggest rap stars in the game vs actually addressing issues. This is America.
