NOT SO FAST! Megan Thee Stallion Sets the Record Straight On Misinformation Claiming She Lost Case Against Label 1501 – “Why Y’all Be So Hype for Negative News?”

Baby, Meg can’t catch a break when it comes to people putting out misinformation regarding her court cases, can she?

One thing is for certain when, Megan Thee Stallion definitely deals with a lot of BS whether it’s because of the violence she experienced from pint-sized rap singer Tory Lanez when he allegedly shot her in the foot or from her ongoing feud with her record label 1501 Certified Entertainment and it’s owner Carl Crawford. With both incidents still having cases lingering in the court of law, we often see narratives being pushed around them as we still await final judgement, and today was no apparently no different.

Today, the ‘Savage’ rapper took to Twitter to clear up some apparent misconceptions about the case with her label. After a blogger named ‘FckYaya’ uploaded what was said to be an official court document along with a headline claiming that Meg had lost the case against her label and still owes them another album before she can be let out of her contract as her collection of unreleased tracks and freestyles ‘Something for the Hotties’ could not be counted as an album. Meg quickly took to her Twitter to shut down those claims however, tweeting:

“No judge has ruled anything abt this 1501 case, this information is not accurate,” she wrote in a tweet. “the court date for this isn’t even until DECEMBER 12TH … we HAVE NOT went to court and got a summary judgment. Please stop spreading misinformation thanks,” before following it up with the very valid question “Why y’all be so hype for negative news? Very miserable behavior.”

When the blogger who originally wrote the story replied asking Megan if she was “sure” about those claims, the Houston hottie doubled down on her statement and seemingly let it be known that the court doc in question was an error, tweeting “Very sure and when the issue is corrected I hope you post that too.”

You know what, I can only imagine the feeling of relief when all of this mess is behind Megan. When you really think about it, she hasn’t really had the opportunity to enjoy her rise to fame based on all the personal struggles and drama that has followed. Take a look at what she had to say below. Thoughts?
