SHE’S BAAAACK?: Megan Thee Stallion to Make First 2023 Appearance with Houston Concert This Month; Is Not Planning on Releasing Any “Diss Track”

All eyes are definitely on Megan as she prepares to enter a new era following the media shit show that was the Tory Lanez case.. and from the sounds of things, she’s focusing on her bag and taking the high road.

Some artists have already begun showing out in the first quarter of the year, dropping off singles and full-length projects to entertain audiences and show off for the competition. Megan Thee Stallion, on the other hand, has kept mostly quiet since the ending of Tory Lanez’s tumultuous trial. It ultimately concluded with the pint-sized Canadian being found guilty of previously shooting her in the foot. While I’m sure the conclusion of the case had to provide some sort of vindication, the Houston Hottie has been keeping any celebrations lowkey as defense lawyers attempt to free her assailant.

As per Uproxx, the “Hot Girl Summer” hitmaker has finally announced that she’s ready for a comeback. On Friday (March 10), it was revealed that she’ll be taking to the stage in her hometown later this month. She’ll be at the AT&T Block Party, which takes place from March 31st through April 2nd in Houston’s Discovery Green park. It’s scheduled to unfold at the same time as the Men’s Final Four weekend.

In a statement, Thee Stallion expressed her excitement over booking shows once again. “There’s no place I’d rather be for my first performance of the year than my hometown of Houston,” she gushed. “The AT&T Block Party Concert is gonna be such a vibe. I can’t wait to get back on stage in the city where it all began. I’m looking forward to seeing my Hotties and putting on an unforgettable show for them.”

Of course, with everyone waiting to see how Megan will maneuver with this next era, that’s going to come with rumors. After Nicki Minaj released her latest single ‘Red Ruby Da Sleeze,’ which many believe takes so subtle jabs at Megan including “I don’t f**k with horses since Christopher Reeves,” rumors have now began to circulate that Megan is planning to drop a “diss track” of her own in response to Minaj.

However, we have spoken to sources directly connected to the situation who have confirmed that Thee Stallion has absolutely no plans on focusing on any drama at this time. Which, certainly makes sense considering she’s coming back from a very traumatic experience, so the expectation that she’s going to do so focusing on negativity is actually insane. Also, if anyone really wanted to ‘battle’ her perhaps they should kick it off by actually saying her name.

Anyways, Are you excited for what Megan is set to bring? How would you like to see her come back?
