Love her or hate or, over the last year or so Caresha has done an amazing job rebranding herself and getting her feet wet outside of music. Now as far as the acting is concerned… I think it’s safe to say she needs a bit of work.
Following a small role in the recent Netflix comedy ‘You People,’ Yung Miami’s debut on BMF has the internet underwhelmed and collectively clowning the City Girls rapper’s acting… skills? Miami made her first appearance on the popular show on Friday (March 10), playing the role of Deanna Washington. In a scene that is going viral, Big Meech’s character meets with Washington to inform her of the death of her husband. Yung Miami’s character begins to cry before lashing out at Meech and slapping him.
I hope Yung Miami stick to making music bruh this really the worst acting I ever seen in my life😭😭😭 #BMF pic.twitter.com/WOFf81n420

Since the premiere of the episode, Miami has been trending on Twitter, with people seeming to collectively agree that her acting skills are terribly not up to par. “I loveeeee Yung Miami, but that acting was very much trash. Understand she’s a well known rapper, but baby girl needs acting lessons,” one person tweeted.

“Please give actors/actresses the chance to be on this show,” another post on the topic reads. “No more guest star rappers that can’t act. We already let it slide with bad acting Lala but that Yung Miami shit is not it.”

“Caresha had me screaming on BMF last night she’s mad funny,” a fan wrote. “It wasn’t funny lol,” the City Girl replied along with a side-eye emoji, before clapping back at her critics. “The more they hate the more opportunities come!! It’s only the beginning for me!,” she wrote in response to another tweet.

Take a look at the scene along with the responses for yourself and let us know your thoughts. To be fair, perhaps Miami can get better as more opportunities come in because baby this was definitely giving Tubi’s finest…almost like a parody. Thoughts?
Yung Miami better thank God for colorism and “pretty privilege”, because talented she is NOT!
There are too many great actors for y’all to be hiring the likes of Caresha and LaLa!! #BMF pic.twitter.com/D61heR5v3Q
