Funkmaster Flex appears to be taking Remy Ma’s side in her feud with Nicki.
Funk Flex has never been shy to level ghostwriting accusations at rappers, and today he’s doing that with Nicki Minaj. Remy Ma’s diss track aimed at Nicki, “ShETHER,” found her, among other things, suggesting Nicki has had help with her bars (“Got your ghostwriters back, so you think you lit”). Flex has now echoed those sentiments on Twitter.
“Rappers with ghostwriters are entertainers not lyricist!!!” he wrote, arhuing that Nicki can’t be the “queen” of rap if she doesn’t write her rhymes.
Of course, Drake’s name was eventually brought up, with Flex dismissing both Nicki and Drizzy as rappers who “don’t write.”
