ROLLING IN PEACE: Kodak Black Is Apparently Recording Verses Over The Phone From Prison

The justice system can’t stop Kodak Black from making music.

Despite being behind bars, Kodak Black isn’t letting that get in the way of him dropping new music. Shortly after his most recent arrest in January, it didn’t take long for him to drop new music. The rapper dropped off Heart Break Kodak on Valentine’s Day and most recently had a feature on Cash Money’s Before Anythang soundtrack on the song “Any Weather.” However, the rapper is seemingly keeping his pen sharp as his engineer revealed that he’s recorded music while locked up.

Kodak Black’s producer and engineer, Dyryk, took to Instagram to reveal that he’s recorded a few new Kodak Black verses over the phone. He simultaneously previewed a new beat which is presumably one that Kodak rapped over.

“@kodakblack Recorded a couple verses over the phone yesterday got me ready. About to smack all of ya’ll with another 🌊 Stay Tuned.” He wrote.

It’s good to know that Kodak’s pen is staying sharp while he’s behind bars and is managing to figure some sort of way to keep his career moving forward despite the setback.

Aside from working on music, the rapper was also recently granted a tutor in jail to help him get his GED. He was previously working on getting his GED before he went to jail.

There’s yet to be any details on when he’ll be released but we’ll keep you updated when we find out.
