Remember when Kanye West revealed back in February that he was $53 million in personal debt? Well, this little story I’m about to share with you may give just a bit on insight of how that could possibly happen… Page Six is reporting that Kanye recently spent “nearly all of his money” on furniture for his new mansion in Calabasas. Sources state that Kanye recently hired celebrity designer Sandy Gallin to help decorate and even purchased a “one-off $30,000 couch.” And then this happened: “Kanye walked into the house, decided he hated all the furniture brought in by Gallin, and demanded it to be returned to the vendors.” Only the vendors had a strict return policy, so Kanye’s expensive furniture now sits in storage. Oh, and BTW, he spent another “fortune” on a new set of furniture, according to Page Six.
They also go on to report that Kim’s patience, is being tested with the whole process as Kanye is currently working with Belgian designer and antiques dealer Axel Vervoordt. One source tells Page Six that Kanye is “holding everything up” and the house is still not fully ready. “Kim just wants to be settled at home, especially after everything that happened in Paris.” In other Kanye news, recently announced on Twitter that he got rid of his phone “so I can have air to create.” I don’t even really know what to say about this other than, you like what you like, and Kanye will always be Kanye. Must be nice!
