Chris Brown turns 28 today. The celebration was underway last night, though it quickly came to a halt once Breezy ran into a process server. Just as he was leaving the Grooves nightclub in Houston, about to board his tour bus, Brown was handed a restraining order — courtesy of the attorneys of his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran.
TMZ caught footage of the encounter between Brown and the undercover servant of the court.
Brown disappears onto the bus right after the transaction is made, though one can imagine he soon read over the restraining order with the utmost rage. It so happens that he’s been avoiding these very papers for a few months now.
In the restraining order, Tran accuses Brown of domestic violence — including punching her in the stomach and throwing her down a flight of stairs — as well as making death threats against her. Brown has already been issued a separate restraining order from one of Tran’s friends.
A hearing, during which Brown will presumably dispute the restraining order and the allegations against him, is set for later this month.
