Reginae Carter, best known as the 19-year-old daughter of Lil Wayne and Toya Wright, recently sparked rumors of a new romance with Atlanta rapper YFN Lucci. The two were spotted cruising around NBA All-Star Weekend together last month, and while it was unclear if they were just close friends, the rumored couple made things a little more obvious on social media Saturday night. As The Shade Room points out, Carter and Lucci publicly exchanged some loving emojis on one of Reginae’s posts. It’s looking pretty official at this point. Check out the comments below.
Reginae recently made headlines after she defended the honor of her baby sister, who was apparently being called “ugly” by some commenters online. “You can call me anything, but about Reign — that is a baby,” she said in a video. “She can’t even say, ‘Shut up.’ That’s what she needs to tell y’all, but she can’t even say that. So, therefore, don’t speak about her. You say she’s cute and that’s all. That’s it.”
In other Carter news, Reginae’s dad Lil Wayne reunited with his past collaborator Gucci Mane in North Carolina this weekend. Wayne has shared two new Dedication mixtapes in the last few months, so here’s hoping that he and Gucci are in talks about working on some new music.
