YOU BETTER CALL TYRONE: Sheree Whitfield’s Jailbird Boyfriend Denied Early Release; May Be Another Four Years

On Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Sheree Whitfield revealed she hoped her boyfriend Tyrone would be out this year. However, his official release date is reportedly set for 2022.

Sheree Whitfield told the Real Housewives of Atlanta viewers that she’s dating a man behind bars. Apparently, Tyrone has a past with the Atlanta housewives, as NeNe Leakes has revealed that she has a past with him. She wouldn’t talk about whether they had dated, but NeNe told viewers that Sheree needed to have her guard up in regards to him. It sounds like Whitfield is really excited about having him come home from prison and during Sunday’s episode of the show, she said that it better happen this year.

Of course, The Real Housewives of Atlanta viewers were quick to do some research to see if Sheree’s wishes would come true. As it turns out, Tyrone was sentenced to 10 years in prison and he started serving his sentence in 2012. In other words, he has served about 6 years of his sentence, which means he has 4 years left. Whitfield may be disappointed when he doesn’t come home this year.

It’s possible that Tyrone will get an early release, but this year may be a stretch. Sheree hinted that she would love for him to come home and during Sunday’s episode of the show, he hinted that he was ready to make the commitment official. One can imagine that her co-stars may be surprised to learn that they are talking about marriage, especially NeNe Leakes who has a past connection to him. It’s possible Tyrone will let the world know what that connection is, as Leakes doesn’t want to talk about it.

What do you think about Sheree Whitfield waiting for a man behind bars? Do you think she could wait 4 years for him to be released?
