Tyrese Gibson has been doing the most with updating all fans and followers of his court dealings. Ever since his ex-wife, Norma Gibson, alleged he physically abused their 10-year-old daughter, Shayla, so bad that she was unable to sit down, it’s been a bumpy ride of he-said-she-said with lots of court dates and video shares.
After Tyrese posted an emotional video of him crying over not having support from his billionaire friends when it comes to the expensive court cases, he then shared another post saying Will and Jada Pinkett Smith gave him $5 million dollars. It was apparently under one condition though…that he stay off social media and focus on his family.
“When we show UP for each other, there’s nothing that can’t be done! …Jada Pinkett-Smith and my brother Will Smith just sent us 5 million to help keep us afloat,” Tyrese said in a post that has since been deleted. You can see the caption here. “You guys asked [me] to get off and stay off the internet now that my daughter’s legal fees will be paid!”
But since the news broke, sources close to the Smith family told TMZ that Will and Jada did not give Tyrese any money. Although they have been friends for years, the sources further tell the publication that Will and Jada are quite worried about his mental health.
In a more recent share, the actor says that just today (November 8th) he was told by the courts that he can no longer post about his daughter. We’ll see if Tyrese can follow the court rules and not give any updates about his young Shayla.
