Most of the public began side eyeing Keke’s baby daddy after that whole “you a mom” fiasco with Usher and apparently… it was for good reason.
Keke Palmer has spent a significant part of her life in the spotlight. From being a confident tween girl who commanded the screen to the versatile woman boasting numerous media endeavors, her star power has been consistent. However, In recent months we’ve started to see a different type of headline featuring Keke’s name though, those with consistent drama around her relationship with Darius Jackson.
A few months back, things appeared to be rocky between the couple after and incident when he apparently thought she was a little underdressed and overly friendly R&B superstar Usher, however the pair were seen multiple times since… but you know how it goes, you really never know what goes on behind closed doors as we learn that Keke has not only has asked a court for full custody of their 8-month-old son, Leodis, but she also filed a restraining order against baby daddy Darius alleging many instances of physical abuse.
According to US Weekly, Palmer, 30, accused Jackson, 29, of abusing her multiple times over the course of their two-year relationship in court documents filed on Thursday, November 9. Palmer claimed that she has security footage from a November 5 incident in which Jackson “trespassed into my home without my knowledge or consent” and “threatened” her before “lunging for my neck, striking me, throwing me over the couch and stealing my phone.”
She went on to allege that there have been “many instances of physical violence” with Jackson that include “destroying my personal property, including diaries and prescription eyeglasses, throwing my belongings into the street, throwing my car keys to prevent me from driving away, hitting [me] in front of our son, spewing profanities about me to our son, threatening to kill himself with a gun if I left him, harassment, and other physical and emotional abuse.”
In her declaration, Palmer said that her relationship with Jackson “finally ended for good” in early October “primarily due to the physical and emotional abuse inflicted” on her by him. This is breaking news that we’re sure more information is going to surface about soon, especially with as vocal as both of them are via social media.
