6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj are urging fans to purchase the “Trollz” single up to four times in order to rack up the numbers on the charts.
6ix9ine is trying his best to avoid another “Gooba” debut situation by begging his fans to drop some cash on his new collab with Nicki Minaj, “Trollz.” On Saturday (June 13th), he posted a video on Instagram explaining how his fans can help ensure that he sells enough copies of the new single in order for it to go No. 1 on the Billboard charts.
“To all my fans, this is very important,” he said. “If you can, go purchase ‘Trollz’ on iTunes up to four times. You can purchase, legally, up to four times. If you can. There’s also, on the 6ix9ine store, you have merchandise, but most importantly, you have CDs, vinyl, cassettes, tapes etc. You can buy up to four times. That’s the legal amount, up to four times. Again, we are winning by far, but, there is always some bullsh*t with these people. So, run it up.”
He went as far as bribing fans with money as he also explained the TikTok challenge he and Nicki have launched for “Trollz”, which he reiterates in the caption of the post. “GO BUY TROLLZ ON I TUNES IF YOU CAN,” he wrote as Nicki echoed his post in the comments. “*IF YOU CAN* PURCHASE AT THE STORE VINYLS AND MERCHANDISE. IF YOU CANTTTTTTT THATS FINE STREAM IT I LOVE YOU EVEN MORE THE BEST TIK TOK FOR TROLLZ WINS 10,000 DOLLARS 2ND PLACE 5,000 3RD PLACE 1,000 TAG ME AND @nickiminaj SO WE CAN SEE IT ‼️‼️‼️‼️”
6ix9ine and Nicki have caused quite the stir ever since they announced that she’d be featured on his follow-up to “Gooba.” The rainbow-haired rapper was furious last month when “Gooba,” the first single he dropped since his release from prison, failed to go No. 1. He even went so far as to accuse Billboard of “manipulating the charts” in order to allow Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber’s duet, “Stuck With U,” to take the top spot…which is ironic considering he’s literally thinking of ways to manipulate the charts rather than letting the song do what it’s going to do organically. This is also interesting coming from the self proclaimed queen who once publicly frowned upon Travis Scott for out charting her by using merch bundles and tactics. Whew Chile. Thoughts?
