It looks like y’all girl Tasha is learning the hard way that just because you get on camera and yell things ignorantly at the top of your lungs, that doesn’t necessarily make them true.. especially in the court of law. Bloop.
Now, we’ve all heard Cardi B’s and Offset’s song, “Clout,” and needless to say, the words of that song have continued to ring true as Cardi’s rise in the game continues. One of the prime examples is Bardi’s on-going court battle with loudmouth Youtuber Latasha K. Tasha is pretty much the on camera equivalent of Mediatakeout, basically putting out information on her platform regardless of how true it may be, with one goal in mind, clicks and views. This came to a head in 2019 when the YouTube personality made some pretty serious allegations against the Cardi without providing any proof to back her claims, per usual. This led to the two taking things to court and Tasha filing a countersuit against Cardi on claims that she received gang-related threats after being put on blast. But finally.. the judge is calling bullshit.
A federal judge dismissed Tasha’s $3 million countersuit against as of Friday. According to court documents, the court ruled that while Cardi’s case against the clout chasing YouTuber will certainly move forward and go before a jury, Tasha’s counter suit is completely out of here…dismissed…finished…finito.
For those unfamiliar with the case, Cardi sued Tasha after she posted 23 videos in a year that featured pretty wild and disgusting accusations, one which claimed a then-pregnant Cardi was going to give birth to a child with intellectual disabilities, alluding to Cardi having taken drugs during her pregnancy. In another video, Tasha claimed Cardi abused ecstasy and cocaine. She also said Cardi had been a prostitute in the past. During one rant, Tasha described Cardi as, “Just a Grammy nominated prostitute running around spreading her herpes.” Tasha countersued Cardi with a baseless money grab by saying she was publicly defamed which led to her receiving death threats and emotional distress during her pregnancy..despite the fact that she initiated all of this and continues to harass Cardi and anyone associated to her to this day.
The judge said he will not make a decision on Cardi’s claims against Tasha and will leave that up to the jury. However, the court dismissed Tasha’s counterclaims, finding that the “blogger” failed to “produce any evidence” showing Cardi had threatened her or made her believe that she was going to harm her. You never win when you play dirty. What do you guys make of all this?
