I have to say the evolution of Cardi B has been one of the fastest and most impressive I’ve ever seen. She was introduced to us as everyone’s favorite Instagram stripper who just happened to be hilarious as hell, to a reality television star (Love & Hip Hop), to a respected rapper, and now the personality is adding acting to her resume.
It’s been revealed that Cardi is joining the cast of BET’s ‘Being Mary Jane,’ which stars Gabrielle Union. She will reportedly be playing the character of “Mercedes” for the show. TVLine described the character as a “round-the-way beauty with a big weave, big boobs and a big booty to match her oversized, ratchet personality.”
