When Bardi revealed she had an announcement, I don’t think anyone saw this coming… and they haven’t been able to stop talking about it since.

“Bardi Gang” and the “Hotties” are losing their minds on social media right now, because what they’ve been waiting for is finally here. Amid a lot of successful features, legal drama, relationship drama, and a whole lot else, both femcees have been relatively quiet on their own music release front. However, that all changed on Monday (September 4) when Cardi B finally followed up her promise for a big announcement. What’s more is that this actually confirms previous rumors and brings us not just one rap return, but two as Cardi revealed that the ‘WAP’ sisters will reunite as Megan Thee Stallion features on her “BONGOS” which drops on Friday (September 8).

Of course, this is incredibly exciting news for fans of either artist, or for people that want another smash rap hit. After all, these are the two ladies that brought us “WAP”: how could they not have another banger on their hands? Rap has suffered heavily on the charts this year compared to it being the most dominant genre in previous times and I’m confident that if anyone is going to take it back to the top, Cardi and Megan can definitely do it together.

While Megan has been on a hiatus following the traumatic Tory Lanez trial, Cardi has been visible over the last few months on an incredible feature run that brought collabs with the likes of Latto, Offset, GloRilla, and Chicago rapper Fendi DaRappa. Now, she’s shifting her focus to rolling out her highly anticipated sophomore album, following ‘WAP’ and ‘Up’ with ‘Bongos’ and one look at social media tells you the people are more than ready.
