Little man syndrome is a serious thing, but I’ll tell you what.. there is no way I’m letting all 5-foot, 3-inches of Tory Lanez do his big one on me.
Early this morning, Gossip of the City sparked a rumor that garnered much attention. The page alleged that Mr entanglement himself, August Alsina and pint-sized rapper Tory Lanez got into a physical altercation due to words that were shared online. The account wrote, “Tory Lanez KO’d August Alsina tonight after August got froggy with Tory over something Tory said months ago. Tory was trying to show him love and August wanted to take it to a negative place & got knocked out! [skull and bones emoji].”
Shortly after their initial post, the page came back and added, “August was the negative one , not Tory. August felt some kind of way because Tory said he wouldn’t have “snitched “ on jada like August did. Tory tried to shake his hand and August ignored him. Tory asked him about it and August got negative and told him to keep that same energy.”

Since then, hundreds of social media users chimed in and reacted to the tweets. Some believed the story was made up and false, while others were picking sides. As everyone debated online, eventually August entered the chat and painted a very clear picture on what actually may have happened last night.
The singer took to IG with a pic that shows himself leaning up against an elevator wall with blood running down his mouth and appearing dazed allegedly at the hands of little Tory.
The way things allegedly went, August claims Tory and a bunch of his security guards approached him as he was leaving a show, circling him and pressing him. August says Tory wanted to know why he hadn’t dapped him up in the past. August says it all had to do with Tory taking shots at him a couple years back when he spoke on his situation with Jada Pinkett Smith, so he figured Lanez simply didn’t like him, and didn’t feel it necessary to pretend they were friendly.
Then, August claims Tory sucker punched him as he was trying to get himself out of the situation. August insists it wasn’t a fight, but simply an assault — and that Tory and co. scrammed. He also alleges Tory’s crew got the whole thing on camera, asking they release the footage. August says he posted this because he’d seen/heard Tory running his mouths to blogs … and wants to get the true story out there. For his part, Tory’s claiming the whole thing’s a lie, claiming he was in the studio all night, denying he was involved in anything like what August is describing.. Sound familiar?
