The older I get, the more I realize that the ability to read the room isn’t necessarily something that everyone has. Tiffany Haddish has much of the public giving her a severe side eye since she announced her current trip to Israel… but let’s hear her out on her reasoning.
Tiffany Haddish has tearfully defended her trip to Israel in a live interview from the Middle Eastern nation with TMZ. Haddish spokeabout the ongoing hostage crisis surrounding civilians taken in Hamas’ initial incursion into Southern Israel last October. However, Haddish, despite veering into the territory of IDF propaganda, insisted that she also cared about the plight of the embattled Palestinian population. At the time of writing, over 30,000 Palestinians have been killed as Israel has continually vowed to leave nothing but dust in the face of international calls that they are perpetuating a genocide.
Haddish also addressed the jokes she had recorded and published online during her flight to Israel. Even pro-Israel advocates disapproved that Haddish had joked that she was on her way to “find a man” in Israel. Haddish doubled down, praising herself for doing something that most other single women wouldn’t dare to do. Additionally, Haddish attempted to draw sympathy from TMZs viewers by claiming she was “all alone” in the world.
“I’m all alone, I’m doing this all by myself. I don’t have a whole family full of men or a man supporting me. I’m doing it on my own, I’m learning on my own. So I have to make light of something the average female wouldn’t do. The average female wouldn’t have the courage to go see for themselves, it’s a lot of scary ass b****s out here. Y’all can be scared but I’m going to go ahead and follow my instincts.”
