I need people to listen and listen clear, I don’t care how a person chooses to express their sexuality in their art, appearance, or simply just verbally… that is not your green light to violate them.
YK Osiris is often subject to ridicule, defense, and conversation for his antics, but this is an entirely new low. Recently, a clip went viral of the rapper forcibly kissing fellow MC Sukihana, which brought about condemnations of sexual assault. The incident occurred as she commentated on a Crew League basketball tournament game in Atlanta alongside Lil Duval, Funny Marco, and Buster Sher. Viewer discretion is advised for description and the video itself, as many have pointed out how uncomfortable it is.
First, YK Osiris approaches Sukihana and starts to massage her shoulders and she immediately looks uncomfortable while trying to laugh it off. Then, he pulls her head back and tries to kiss her as you can hear her yelling at him to stop. Duval and the other commentators begin to laugh with surprise, with him seemingly daring Osiris to “tongue kiss her.” When he’s done trying as Sukihana continues to yell and turn herself away, Osiris walks away laughing hysterically to a friend, dapping him up.

While there’s obviously a lot of context here that viewers don’t know, this is a pretty clear cut video of things going too far and YK Osiris quickly got due criticism online for his behavior. “I hope ykosiris get the absolute worst a** whooping of his life and charges pressed against him,” a user tweeted. “Such a disgusting MF truly.” Another took more aim at Duval and company for their lack of action. “One is openly sexually assaulting her. The two sitting beside are looking stuck instead of checking YK Osiris creepy rapist a**. And the n***as in the background just watching. I hate y’all for this.”
Suki has seemingly addressed what happened via Twitter and said, “I drink to hide that I’m very sensitive. I feel things more then the average person. I stopped drinking yesterday but today I’ve been crying all day. I asked God to strengthen me and use me to help others and to order my steps in his word. I just want to go away for awhile,” before deleting her Twitter account.
Other celebrities such as Amber Rose also shared messages in support of Suki writing, “Are we really going to sit back and let this happen to Sukihana??? She was sexually assaulted and no one did anthing [sic]!!! This is the entertainment business and she is an entertainer!!!”
People are also rallying around Suki due to a resurfaced interview she had with Kandi Burruss and her co-host DJ Aone for the YouTube series “Kandi Koated Live.” During the conversation, DJ Aone made a few questionable remarks toward the rap star and even said, “I want to put my face in your p*ssy.”

Wow this Sukihana discussion just proves all you niggas are sexual deviants. YES ALL OF YOU. Y’all be 36 and struggling with the concept of consent and time & place. Y’all are wild ass animals.

The sentence Sukihana does not deserve this, is a full sentence. It does not need an “as wild as she is”, an “as nasty as suki is”, an “as sexual as she is” . Women don’t deserve unwanted physical experiences is a full sentence .

I love seeing everyone coming together recognizing that Sukihana DOES NOT deserve the disrespect and violation she's receiving, and that the rest of the world are truly glorifying rape culture.

Even though I am not a fan of #sukihana, she was violated. What upsets me the most is #lilduval and #funnymarco just laughed. I guess her screams weren’t loud enough. Her body language wasn’t readable to them. I don’t care what she does, she didn’t deserve this shit! Period pic.twitter.com/wovnnVs6Oa
