Nicki Minaj set the bar with her provocative yet regal display on the Queen album cover, the image where she lays on a tree bark with nothing but Hellenistic jewelry covering “the spots.” Her detractors were quick to call her pro-sex posture obscene, her response was to implicate the term “modern day prostitutes” into the discussion. That didn’t go over too well as you might imagine.
The full quote where she defends her sexual image with Elle Magazine’sDevin Gordon goes as the following:
“Maybe I was naïve, but I didn’t realize how many girls were modern-day prostitutes. Whether you’re a stripper, or whether you’re an Instagram girl—these girls are so beautiful and they have so much to offer. But I started finding out that you give them a couple thousand dollars, and you can have sex with them… It makes me sad as a woman. And it makes me sad that maybe I’ve contributed to that in some way.”
Dear Nicki Minaj,
Your lyrics are hypocritical. You went over to @ElleMagazine to slut shame certain types of women, cause that wasn’t your route (allegedly). People need to STOP trying to dictate & police women & THEIR bodies! If you can’t HELP, don’t HURT! @NickiMinaj pic.twitter.com/p4iT30bfyb

Several Twitter users jumped at the chance to correct her inherent projection of female ideals, going as far as to call her blinding criticism “certain women” a hyprocrisy due to her outward sexual appeal, like it or not a major selling point. Unfortunately had the readers, including user @MrJeromeTrammel, read through the entire article, they would have seen the bit where she clarifies her statements and admits to using sex as a bartering tool. By all accounts the wording in the Elle interview may have been off-putting or case sensitive. That didn’t prevent Nicki from going full ham on the Twitter user, telling him rather succinctly to “Suck my dick asshole.” Nicki then unloaded a full rubric of posts defending her case. See below.
Suck my dick ASSHOLE. Had u read the article, I was critiquing MYSELF more than ANYTHING. What I SAID was: I HOPE my overt sexual LYRYCS & PHOTOS don’t make my fans THINK that I’m telling them to be promiscuous & to know their worth! Lyrics, photos & FUCKING r all 3 diff things. https://t.co/SH6AxZM75g

A woman can be a “freak” w|her man, sexual, spit explicit lyrics, an exhibitionist, love freaky girl talk w|her girlfriends, require men to treat her like a QUEEN, etc. NONE OF THAT EQUATES TO SELLING PUSSY. Now pop my dick outcho mouf. The Nicki hate train has left the bldng.

Yikes! What do you think about how Nicki handled that? Was the fan right? Or do you agree with Nicki?
