Fabolous turned himself in on Wednesday night following an alleged altercation with Love & Hip-Hop star and girlfriend Emily Bustamante, who contacted authorities after she was physically assaulted by the rapper. As a result, Fabolous avoided jail time, instead receiving a citation for a future court date. New details are now beginning to emerge as to what exactly went down between the two.
Fabolous reportedly hit Emily B in the face seven times, while also causing “severe damage to her two front teeth,” which she eventually lost as a result. Following the beating, Bustamante called her father to remove “two handguns from the residence due to her fear that they may be used against her.” After a confrontation between Bustamante and her family, Fabolous went into the house to retrieve his firearms. However, “when he could not locate the guns, the defendant left the house, but not before informing the victim, her father, and her brother that he had a bullet for them,” reveals court documents.
This incident stems from an argument that occurred on March 7th, after Fabolous “became enraged” while in Los Angeles after being notified that Emily B’s was also visiting the same city via her Instagram account. As a result, the rapper threatened to bash her head in with a baseball bat, and said he would kill her, but he “didn’t want to go out like that.”
The rapper has since turned himself in, resulting in charges related to aggravated assault, domestic dispute, as well as terrorist threat charges; the plot thickens.
