WHO’S THAT GIRLLLLL?: Eve Takes Over for Aisha Tyler as New Co-Host of CBS’ ‘The Talk’

Eve is stepping in for Aisha Tyler as the newest voice on CBS’ “The Talk.”

The Grammy-winning music star made her debut as a permanent co-host on the daytime series Tuesday. She was a guest co-host on the chat show for the week of Oct. 30.

Eve joins a panel of co-hosts that includes Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood.

Tyler, who co-stars on CBS’ “Criminal Minds,” exited “The Talk” in August after six seasons.

“We are thrilled to welcome Eve to the table as she brings a fun and fresh perspective to our already diverse panel,” said Angelica McDaniel, executive vice president of daytime programs for CBS Entertainment. “The great success of ‘The Talk’ is due to the undeniable chemistry and bond of friendship between the hosts.”

“Eve is an accomplished and dynamic performer, musician, wife and stepmother who fits in seamlessly, while also adding a new layer to the show as we continue to evolve season to season,” McDaniel continued.

Eve won a Grammy for her 2001 single “Let Me Blow Your Mind,” which featured Gwen Stefani. Eve starred for three seasons on the UPN sitcom “Eve,” and has also appeared on “Glee” and in the “Barbershop” film franchise.
