It’s been an interesting last couple of weeks for Jussie Smollet in the news. After reports surfaced that Smollett may have staged his alleged attack the whole industry, fans, and some supports turned their backs on the Empire Actor rather quicky.
Smollett told Chicago police last month that two men attacked him near his apartment building, slipping a noose around his neck and yelling racial and homophobic slurs. More than three weeks later, authorities said they now believe Smollett was lying and charged him with disorderly conduct, alleging he filed a false police report.
Former Love & Hip Hop Hollywood star Milan Christopher recently spoke out to the folks over at TMZ about how he felt about Smollett’s case. Milan stated he believes the “Empire” star’s alleged attack was an elaborate plot to grow his brand, and it’s actually working — at least on social media.
Christopher has obvious issues with Jussie, whom he called out just a few days prior to the TMZ interview on Instagram, saying … “let me tell y’all a little story about an evil jealous black gay man I once met.” He insinuated Jussie tried to torpedo his career and block him from scoring a role on “Empire.” Milan said, “This insecure jealous queen did everything in their power to keep me from expanding my brand and having a new platform that would empower my reach & expand my ‘Empire.'”
Though many have seemingly turned their back on Smollett before the case has reached it’s peak, New York City artist P-kash who claims to be a friend of Smollett, went live on Power 105 to discuss his thoughts. P-Kash apparently took great offence to what Milan had to say about Jussie, firing back “Milan been a fraud, he just needs attention and this aint the way to go about it.” P-kash then says “its not about a jealous situation, you don’t kick someone while they’re down, go back to porn hub and mind your business”. After saying this live on the radio station New York P-kash also says he wishes Jussie the best with his case, and hes not saying jussie is guilty or innocent until he speaks with him personally.
Whew, Chile. One thing is for certain..If Smollett was looking to get people talking, he certainly succeeded. What do you guys think?
