Is Monica next in line for one of Trouble’s cucumber parties?
Monica may not be newly single like we thought, shortly after officially ending her marriage to Shannon Brown. The 37-year-old singer, who recently finalized her divorce from the basketball player, has been reported dating a rapper named Trouble.
Rumors have been swirling that the “Boy is Mine” hitmaker and the Atlanta-born hip-hop star who was previously dating Fetty Wap’s MAYBE-baby mama, Alexis Sky, have been hanging out together lately. The two were seen partying together in a video seemingly taken by Trouble inside what appeared to be a night club as he celebrated his birthday. Monica seemed to be having the time of her life, jamming to the music with her rumored boyfriend next to her. The two were also spotted hanging out for Halloween.
Convinced that there’s something romantic going on between the two, an Instagram user weighed in on the dating reports, “I really been peeping past few days they must have something going on.” Another supported the claim as writing, “They been hanging tough.”
Some others, however, disapproved of the possible pairing. “Mannnn hell naw,” one reacted to the dating rumors. Another wrote, “No and they ain’t dating.” Someone else commented, “Hell to the damn noooo!!” while another added, “Hell nah Mo major downgrade even tho her taste in men sucks.”
Many are convinced that Monica is smitten by the hood rapper, who is claimed to be her type. Before marrying Shannon, the R&B singer dated a number of prominent “hood” rappers, including Rodney “Rocko” Hill and the currently incarcerated C-Murder.
