Earlier today, T.I. was reported to be charged after he got into an altercation with a security guard at the gated community he lives in. The rapper ended up getting arrested after security called police on him and the friend he was with. It didn’t take long for the rapper to be released and his mug shot said that he was anything but stressed about the situation. He took to Instagram Live shortly after to speak on the situation.
During T.I.’s Instagram Live session this morning, the rapper seemed to be in good spirits despite this morning’s arrest. In fact, he doesn’t even consider it to be an arrest more so than an inconvenience.
“I guess y’all been hearing all the nonsense,you know what I’m sayin’? I’m lookin’ like yesterday man. I was inconvenienced, not arrested.” He said. “With all we done been through man, this is small potatoes, man. Major’s birthday, I’m here, present, at school. Ain’t been to sleep but guess what? God is good, all the time.”
Shortly after he was released, Tip made his way to his son’s school to celebrate his birthday with him.
T.I. issued a statement earlier pertaining to his arrest. The rapper said that he was wrongfully detained for being a rich Black celebrity in a predominantly white neighborhood. Regardless, it’s clear that T.I. isn’t stressing the arrest and has gone back to spending time with his family.
