Nicki Minaj has been at the center of many news reports over the last few days. Ever since she revealed the identity of her new boyfriend, people have gone wild. Kenneth Petty, the man she’s been spending time with, has been convicted of murder and sexual assault, leaving a bad taste in people’s mouths. Their relationship has been getting lots of coverage across mainstream entertainment news stations as DailyMailTV’s Jesse Palmer spoke about the situation on air yesterday. Minaj was tuning in though and she was not impressed with what she heard, claiming that he had spread lies on her name. She went so far as to threaten a lawsuit against Palmer. Now, the exact report has been pinpointed, marking the reason why Nicki was upset.
When speaking about Petty’s criminal history, the reporter said that Minaj has a history of defending questionable people, including her brother Jelani Maraj. Palmer said that her fans are worried about Nicki because this “isn’t the first time she’s defended a sex offender,” mentioning how Jelani was found guilty of sexual assault against a minor. The misinformation that Nicki is claiming is still a little unclear but the manner in which the reporter implies Minaj consistently hangs around rotten people is pretty defamatory.
