Kendall Jenner got the bag this year.
The Kardashian/Jenner family are comprised of sisters and one brother all pulling in serious amounts of cash based on their last name and the creative and entrepreneurial endeavors they take on. It’s safe to say Kim Kardashian has the most amount of millions next to Kylie Jenner and her Kylie Cosmetics. Model Kendall Jenner may not be the breadwinner in the family as a whole, but according to Forbes she’s the highest paid model in the industry.
Kendall pulled in a jaw-dropping $22.5 million this year putting her ahead of other industry mates such as Bella and Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Gisele Bundchen and more. This year alone Kendall pulled in contracts with Estee Lauder, Adidas, Calvin Klein and walked the beloved Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
“Since the beginning we’ve been super selective about what shows I would do,” Kendall previously said of her experience in the industry. “I was never one of those girls who would do, like, 30 shows a season or whatever the fuck those girls do. More power to ’em. But I had a million jobs, not only catwalks but everything else. The whole combination was very overwhelming, and I started to freak out a little bit and needed to take a step back.”
Kendall later got criticized for her comment with people thinking her privilege was showing. Her team followed up with a statement:
“It’s not what she meant. The quote was taken out of context. Mid-thought she realized the number of shows some models walk a season is closer to 80. The point was that it’s their path and “the more power to them.” She admires their hard work and dedication. It’s an accomplishment.”
