Azealia Banks has been making more headlines with her social media antics rather than her music as of late. We’ve been waiting for her to come through with new music and in early January, she announced that she’ll be dropping Fantasea II in March. She’s been dealing with issues within the industry including claims that she was blackballed. However, it now looks like her label issues are coming to an end as she’s finally found a new label to call home.
Azealia Banks took to Instagram to reveal that she penned a million dollar deal with Entertainment One. “I’m now officially signed to E1 Entertainment!! I HAVE A HOME AGAIN… I’m crying.” She wrote, “The Industry left me out on the street like a stray dog and now I have shelter again.”
In a following Instagram post, she thanked her fans and her supporters for continuously standing by her side. “You guys have healed so many of my wounds (past and present) and I have no clue what I would be doing with my life if i didn’t have you guys inspiring me and loving my constantly,” she said in the post.
A few days a go, she revealed the title for her first single off of Fantasea II, “Anna Wintour.” After patching things up with Nicki Minaj in 2017, she took to Instagram to say she wanted to get Minaj as well as Mel B from the Spice Girls on the song.
