Remember way back when, when a video surfaced of Solange straight launching at Jay Z in an elevator and a security guard had to hold her down? And Beyonce just kinna chilled and let it happen? Well, it’s fair to say no one will really know why it happened considering even Jay Z, the victim in the situation only had good things to say about his wife’s sister after.
“We had one disagreement ever. Before and after we’ve been cool. She’s like my sister. I will protect her. That’s my sister, not my sister-in-law, my sister,” he said.
Mathew Knowles, Solange and Beyonce’s dad, recently paid a visit to The Wendy Williams show where he was asked what his reaction to the situation was.
“I have to tell you, I laughed so hard,” he told Wendy. “If you know Solange…that’s Solange. You just never know what you’re going to get, a firecracker – don’t know where she get that from.” He further explained how Beyonce is usually the one to just chill and wait til the drama is over.
If our guess is correct, it seems as though Solange may have been standing up for her big sis because it wasn’t until two years later when Beyonce came out with Lemonade, singing about infidelity by Jay.
