It’s official. Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott have named their new daughter Stormi. The name was revealed on Kylie Jenner’s Instagram page, after the reality star slash new mom posted a heartwarming picture of her daughter. It’s unclear whether or not the X-Men character Storm or the OG Pokemon Starmie were an influence in naming the child, but either way, it certainly has all the trappings of a great celebrity name; slightly out there, powerful, natural, complete with unconventional spelling. In all seriousness, congratulations to the couple, and to baby Stormi, who was born at a healthy 8 lbs.
As of this moment, Kylie’s announcement picture has been out for a little over ten minutes and has already amassed over one million likes. While Jenner opted to remain secretive about the progress, her video recap a few days ago should summarize it quite effectively, if you’re into that sort of thing.
