NOT GON’ CRY: Mary J Blige Reveals in Divorce Docs that She Makes $326,000 a month, but Owes the IRS 6.5 Million!

Uncle Sam is on line one! Mary J. Blige revealed in court documents that she owes the IRS $6.5 million in unpaid back taxes for the years 2008 through 2016.

As part of her bitter divorce battle with Martin “Kendu” Isaacs, the R&B legend filed an Income and Expense Declaration in a Los Angeles court on Aug. 8. She was previously given a temporary order to pay her estranged husband $30,000 a month, the Daily Mail reports. Kendu had originally sought $130,000 a month.

In the documents, she revealed that she earns $326,930 a month.
The singer detailed her expenses, indicating she pays $14,000 a month for her Los Angeles rental and $2,340 for her two Mercedes-Benz cars. She also still owns a New Jersey mansion, which has been on the market since 2015. But there has been little interest in the property. The Daily Mail said the home has been listed as “un-rentable” and has been boarded up by the city and is in a state of “disrepair.”

When Mary split from Kendu — who was also her manager — amid rumors that he was cheating on her with her protege, he said he was left with no source of income.

In court docs, Kendu requested that Mary pay for the majority of his monthly spending, which topped out around $116,000. He also wants her to pay up $10,000 a month to support his parents and his two children from a previous relationship.

TMZ reported that Mary was outraged by his request.

“I am not responsible for supporting his parents and his children from another relationship which he lists as ongoing monthly expenses,” she reportedly said.
