NOT ME, GIRL!: Ariana Grande Addresses Her “Toxic Relationship” With Mac Miller Following DUI Arrest

Ariana Grande isn’t taking the blame for Mac Miller’s recent actions.

Ariana Grande and Mac Miller’s break up came as a shock to many people. The two went strong for two years and it didn’t seem like there were any issues. However, since the break up, Mac’s been arrested for a drunk driving hit and run while Grande’s been rumored to be dating SNL’s Pete Davidson. Many people on social media have seemingly blamed the break up for Mac Miller’s crash. Grande previously addressed her relationship with Mac Miller and said they’re still on good terms. But now, she may have revealed the real reason behind their break up.

A fan of Twitter stated that Mac Miller’s recent incident following the break up and seemingly making an album about Ariana Grande was one of the “most heartbreaking things happening in Hollywood,” Grande wanted to make sure that people knew the facts. She posted a screenshot of a note addressing her “toxic relationship” with Mac Miller and how she’s tried to support his sobriety over the years.

“How absurd that you minimize female self-respect and self-worth by saying someone should stay in a toxic relationship because he wrote an album about them, which btw isn’t the case (just Cinderella is about me). I’m not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be.” She wrote, “I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety & prayed for his balance for years (and always will of course) but shaming/blaming women for a man’s inability to keep his shit together is a very major problem. Let’s stop doing that.”

She explained that although she never spoke about it, she says that it was an extremely hard and scary time for her.
