In support of her KTSE album, which dropped back in June, Teyana Taylor decides to come through today and share the video remix to “Gonna Love Me” featuring Wu Tan Clan members Ghostface Killah, Method Man, and Raekwon.
Inspired by the R&B videos in the 90’s, the self-directed clip finds Teyana displaying her acting skills throughout her hometown of Harlem, New York as she plays plays Ghostface’s girlfriend and discovers he’s been cheating on her before confronting him in their apartment. She later hits the streets in some throwback attire and sings about their relationship. “We shouldn’t read into things so much / Overthinking understanding / Don’t let our feeling, change it up,” she sings.
Teyana eventually runs into Method Man in the stairwell of their building, before later seeing Ghost with another woman and a fight breaks out and gunshots are fired.
