Chance the Rapper’s younger brother Taylor Bennett has come out as bisexual.
The 20-year-old hip-hop artist took to Twitter Wednesday afternoon to announce the news, writing in a post: “I do recognize myself as a bisexual male & do & have always openly supported the gay community & will keep doing so in 2017.”
Bennett went on to share that while his 21st birthday is tomorrow, he plans to start off fresh by staying true to himself and his past struggles, in order to help others who may have gone through similar situations.
“Growing up I’ve always felt indifferent about my sexuality & being attracted 2 one sex & today I would like to openly come out to my fans,” he added.
Several friends and fans have since engaged in post, wishing Bennett a happy birthday and applauding him on his courageousness.
His brother Chance has yet to comment.

It’s really great to see people owning their true and authentic selves in the public eye. Taylor looks just like Chance, so someone go ahead and slide him my number.
