Azealia Banks has a reputation of not holding back, a character trait that often gets her into trouble. Most recently, on Nov. 26, the rapper focused on an old target: Iggy Azalea.
In a series of posts to her Instagram Story, Banks goes in on Azalea for promoting Flat Tummy Tea on social media, explaining how her shade is in response to the Australian rapper making fun of her for line of soaps.
“Awww, iggy is Broke,” Banks posted, writing over a screenshot of Azalea’s promotional ad on Twitter. “I remember when I had to do flat tummy tea ads for a little weave money. Those were rough times. And she had the nerve to make fun of my soap. Yikes.”
She then adds insult to injury, exclaiming how Azalea, who coincidentally just signed a new partnership with EMPIRE, might have to move back in with her family presumably over financial issues.
“Never hating on a girls hustle, but I predict she will be moving back in with her parents in Australia soon,” Banks continued. “@thenewclassic, I can throw you a bone and pay you to promote the Kangaroo Jane shampoo bar if you are interested.”
Given their history of going back and forth at one another on social media, this could escalate into a more serious beef despite the pair exchanging niceties in recent memory. At the time of this report, Azalea has not yet responded to Banks latest comments blasting her for promoting Flat Tummy Tea.
