Erykah Badu previously shared news that she was working on an online store called Badu World Market, and even shared what type of items will be available on it. Now, Badu has shared another item that customers will be available to purchase — a fragrance that smells like her vagina.
In an interview with the folks over at 10 magazine, Badu revealed that the perfume is called ‘Badu’s Pussy’ and is an “olfactory tribute to what Badu calls her ‘superpower.’”
“There’s an urban legend that my pussy changes men,” she said. “The men that I fall in love with, and fall in love with me, change jobs and lives.”
The singer also talked about the process of making the fragrance, which included burning some of her underwear. “I took lots of pairs of my panties, cut them up into little pieces and burned them,” she said. “Even the ash is part of it.”
