The XS Nightclub in Vegas is rumored to have 12-show agreement with Drake over the next to years.
Rumors that Drake will take up a residency in Las Vegas are beginning to heat up. On Thursday night, the OVO rapper performed at XS Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas where he shared certain confidences with the crowd in attendance. “Vegas!” he shouted. “When I came back, I thought it’d be back at T-Mobile Arena or some (stuff),” but I’ll be back here at XS all year. You’ll have a lot of chances to see me.”

Then after insinuating his plans, Drake continued his performance for another half hour, closing shop at approximately 3:30 am. It’s being said that 1,600 were in attendance when he muttered his promise; another 3,200 listened from the Encore’s poolside terrace, adjacent to the venue – many of whom were leftovers visitors of a tech convention, deciding to make a weekend of it (on a company dime). You can bet Drake knew his audience from the back of his hand.
Sources familiar with the situation are reporting that Drake has agreed in principle to perform over 12 shows at the XS Nightclub in the next 2 years. So if we account for the $2 million paycheck Drake scored on Thursday, double the single night record over at XS, will have made nearly $25 million by the time his contract runs out. Party-goers are said to have paid a base sum of $250 just to gain entry. Shortly thereafter, Drake posted a sentimental Instagram post to the effect of Vegas being his “new home.” Cue the Bandwagoner meme-parade.
