GOOD DEEDS: Drake Dropped $50,000 To Buy Groceries For Everyone At Miami Supermarket

It’s gift-giving season for Drake, apparently. While most confine that to a couple of months out of the year, whether it be the holidays or birthdays, when you’re a celebrity with as much wealth as Drake, why stop there? For real.

The rapper has been out and about in Miami as he shoots a music video for the Scary Hours EP track, one of two, “God’s Plan,” which has already made its #1 debut on the Billboard Hot 100, because, Drake. While staying in the sunny location of Miami, Drake has bestowed a few gifts upon civilians there– he gave the Miami Senior High School a cool $25,000 donation as well as the promise of new school uniforms, before giving University of Miami student Destiny James a $50,000 check for her tuition. It hasn’t ended there though, because on Tuesday Drizzy apparently hit up a local grocery store and let it rain.

At approximately 4 PM, if the E! News report is supremely accurate, Drake entered the Sabor Tropical Supermarket and using a megaphone, announced that he’d be paying for everyone’s groceries. His tab apparently came out to $50,000.

One of the lucky customers, Guille Deza, who happened to be in the store at the time told E! News: “No one knew he was coming at all, we just came to do groceries. Cameras were being set up so we were all wondering what was to happen.”

The rumour floating around the grocery store is that this random act of kindness may not be so random after all, as it may be part of the music video for “God’s Plan.” Time will tell.

Take a look at some of the happy customers posts with the 6 God below. Drake apparently did not hesitate to shake hands and take selfies with anyone who asked.

I met drake today at the supermarket , thanks drake for the groceries #drake
