It looks like comments made by Azealia Banks via Twitter are about to stir up some drama between Nicki Minaj and her ex, Safaree.
Banks is no stranger to controversy, and Nicki is no stranger to shading folks, while Safaree is also no stranger to shamelessly showcasing that he doesn’t mind trying to get Nicki’s attention. Case in point, what Azealia is CLAIMING that Safaree’s next move is.
It’s been widely reported that Nicki’s highly anticipated fourth studio album, ‘Queen,’ is set to be released on June 15. Being who she is, Azealia stirred the pot a bit among Nicki fans when she tweeted “LOL word on the street is that saforehead is trying to drop an album called “king” the same day Nicki drops “queen” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO”
She followed that with a few more tweets stating that she believes Safaree really loves Nicki and it’s just that she’s too “cool,” for him, among other things. Now, Azealia isn’t exactly a reliable source about anyone else’s business, however she did work with Safaree on some music for her own project recently, so perhaps he has been giving her an inside scoop?

I lowkey like little corny Safaree for nicki tho 😩😩. He was like her little pet it was so cute. He used to wear pink fitteds and pop lock in back of her on stage 😂😂😂😂… it’s corny and funny and just such a cute love story
