Acting as “momager” to Kim, Kylie, Khloe, Kendall, and Kourtney, the matriarch of the family has taken the Kardashian name from nothing to a worldwide brand. Both making significant changes to their management recently with Kanye parting ways with longtime manager Izzy Zivkovic and Travis Scott leaving the guidance of Mark Gillespie, there were rumors that Kris Jenner may have been in her son-in-laws’ ears. It turns out that she likely has had a major part in the career changes of both rappers according to Page Six.
Kris Jenner is reportedly guiding the careers of both Kanye and Travis with sources revealing that she was behind their respective management splits. An insider told the publication that “[Kanye and Travis] are 100 percent part of that Kardashian-Jenner brand.” While a connection to the family comes with absolute perks, the news will undoubtedly be received with heavy criticism by fans of both artists. The source added, “Kris is in [West’s] ears. Kanye’s been making changes and [he and Zivkovic] have grown apart — but Kris definitely gives her opinion and Kanye’s all ears. She’s about brand building and is gangster at it.”
Travis and Ye have been spotted together in Wyoming, likely cooking up hits for Kanye’s next album. While some were worried about the status of the album following Izzy’s removal from a managerial role, Kris has grown to be successful in building empires for each of her children. She may not be picking up the microphone for a feature spot but the Kardashian mother is set to have a big role in the releases of La Flame’s Astroworld and Kanye’s next full-length.
