Tyrese Gibson (or “JODY!” as I will call him) is on the mend following an undisclosed medical procedure.
Tyrese revealed he underwent a three-hour surgery on Monday with a hopeful yet cryptic Instagram post — but did not reveal what type of operation he had.
“Father God I thank you for your extended grace and mercy 3 hour surgery I made it through,” he captioned the photo, which shows his daughter hugging him as he lies in his hospital bed.
“I was in the middle of my procedure during the eclipse, I hope one day I figure out exactly what that meant….. I appreciate your prayers and energy, God has a way of sometimes forcing us to slow down…. When I get up? I feel like I’m about to change the world…….”
Before his operation Monday, Gibson shared a separate post informing fans he was going into surgery while asking them to extend their prayers for him.
A rep for Gibson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
