After months of speculation, Atlanta rapper YFN Lucci and Reginae Carter have confirmed that they are dating. The rapper, who recently released his debut album Ray Ray From Summerhill, and Lil Wayne’s daughter were crowned king and queen at InstaGala, a “grown-up prom” event in Atlanta this last weekend. Reginae made the truth behind the rumored relationship crystal clear as she shared a couple of photos from the event on her Instagram.
Today, Lucci sat down with TMZ’s Raq Rants and confirmed the pair are dating and shared his thoughts on people saying he’s too old for her. For those who may not be aware, Lucci is 27 years old to Reginae’s tender 19. When asked the question of what he has to say to people who questioned the age difference, he replied
“What age? I mean, my dad is older than my mom, Jay is older than Bey, I could go on and on. Age ain’t got nothing to do with how y’all connect.”
After that statement Raq then asked had he spoken with Reginae’s father Lil Wayne about the relationship, to which he replied expectedly… “no.”
