There’s never a dull moment when Tamar Braxton is on television.
Tamar and Keri Hilson were among a panel of ladies on the Steve Harvey Show where they were asked should a woman change her look for a man. Tamar responded that she does it for her husband, Vincent Herbert.
Tamar said Vince loves blonde hair and fairer-skinned women, so she bought a million of wigs to “stay current and please him.”
Shortly after, many women took to social media angry at both Tamar and her man for pushing such “foolishness” instead of telling young girls to love their natural hair and the magnificent skin color they were born with.
A fan bashed the pair by writing: “I believe in switching it up in your relationship. Give your partner some variety. But Vince needs his butt whooped. You marry a black woman how you want fair skin and blond hair? Plus I bet that’s why she pinched her nose. Like bro, God ain’t make no mistakes on me. This! I couldn’t rock with this…only unambiguous looking, multiracial or white women are naturally fair skin and blonde…so that part didn’t rub me the right way at all. So take all of me and not just parts !! And like you said. Being a whole new person like what the hell, if that’s the case then he don’t really like you! He likes what’s his fantasy which is sad.”
Another commenter said: “She’s so pathetic. I say this in the Least bit insulting way. She’s a sad shell of a woman. This is why her sisters and now her damn mama talk about her. Talking about everyone’s relationship but her own.”
A third person claimed: “At the same time, he was saying rock this rock that he still cheating. You did all that plus some, and your marriage still ended up in shambles I would never submit my morals or physical features for no man. Love me as I am or someone else will.Women need to love themselves and take notes. Never! You met me and fell in love with me with how I look so for me to change my look for a man he can find another woman.”
