WHAT DISS RECORD?: Drake’s “Nice For What” Tops Billboard Hot 100 For Sixth Week

Drake also ties Michael Jackson in his latest Billboard accomplishment.

It’s been a pretty rough week for Drake, at least it would seem that way. The “God’s Plan” rapper has been engulfed in a pretty tense battle with Pusha T. The G.O.O.D Music president unleashed hell on Drake after dropping “The Story Of Adidon” which ultimately exposed the Toronto rapper for allegedly having a secret child with a pornstar. In addition, Pusha T also went after Drake’s parents, his producer, his friends and essentially, hit below with the belt. Many people felt like this may be the decline of Drake’s career. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case, atleast on the charts.

If there’s one thing you can’t take away from Drake, it’s his success on the Billboard charts. Drake’s domination on the Billboard continues as “Nice For What” spends its sixth week atop the Billboard Hot 100. Now, Drake and Michael Jackson tie for the second most career weeks at number one for a solo male. Both artists have 37 each and are trailing behind Usher.

In addition, Drake’s “God’s Plan” is still sitting at number three on the Billboard Hot 100. This also hits a new record on the Billboard Hot 100. Drake’s “God’s Plan” has spent all of the nineteen weeks on the chart in the top three. There has never been another song that achieved that since it’s debut. It spent 11 weeks at number one before being replaced by “Nice For What.”
