Iggy Azalea is firing back at an entertainment news reporter for suggesting that she and her ex, Nick Young, were grabbing dinner together in Los Angeles yesterday.
The duo, who broke off their engagement 18 months ago, happened to be at the same restaurant Sunday night. TMZ reports that Iggy headed into Craig’s and Nick arrived a short while after. Of course, it’s easy to assume they may have planned the meet-up – the same way Ryan Smith over at The Daily Mail did, but Iggy shot down his story quick.
The 4 My Ratz rapper started her series of tweets by letting everyone know that Nick’s appearance was very random:
“The unfortunate thing about LA is there are not that many places people eat. You can be in the middle of one of the most important dinner meetings of your life; and randomly your ex and all his friends walk in the same place,” she tweeted.
“Ryan Smith @ TheDailyMail i hope all your christmas gifts contain boxes of dried up chips of dog sh-t for trying to imply i would EVER, EVER have a dinner date with my ex who created a full human behind my back,” she tweeted.
A second tweet read, “Ryan Smith of the daily mail; i curse you to cut your finger open deeply every year on a broken christmas ornament.”
So we’ve learnt two things. Iggy was having “one of the most important dinner meetings” of her life and her and Nick are definitely not back together.
