Way back when, M.A.C. announced that a collection based on the late Aaliyah was in the works. The collab was sparked by an online petition asking the cosmetics company to reintroduce the R&B star to the world, especially considering her brother Rashad Haughton previously stated that M.A.C. was her favourite line of makeup.
After what seems to have been a million years (get it?) M.A.C has officially announced that the line will be available online June 20th and will hit shelves June 21st.
“Aaliyah super-fans everywhere – YOU made it happen! Inspired by your loyalty and love, the 90s-glam #AaliyahForMAC collection launches in North America June 20 online and June 21 in-stores! Aaliyah lives on in a makeup collection influenced by her groundbreaking work in music and film,” the Instagram caption read.
